Prayer Topics for February 21, 2010

1. "THE SCARLET CORD" (Joshua 2:8-22)
All people are sinners living under the judgment of Almighty God. May the scarlet cord of Jesus' blood forgive and cleanse us, and save us from slavery to our sinful nature and from death. May God's almighty power working in us enable us to forgive and love one another. May this seed of the gospel bear fruit in the house churches of the world.

2. CHICAGO & USA CAMPUS MINISTRIES
* Thank God for blessing the USA/Canada staff conference over the weekend. More than 230 attended and were blessed through the work of the Holy Spirit.
* House Churches in the Chicago UBF ministry and throughout the USA may be rooted in the gospel and filled with the Holy Spirit and be effective witnesses of Christ among postmodern intellectuals.

4. USA MISSIONARIES
* Mike Thompson. He took Matthew 28:19-20 as his key verse this year. He prays to humbly share the gospel and to raise disciples of Jesus Christ. He prays to have two regular Bible studies, one with his son Charles and another with a Russian student. He also prays to cowork well with M. Caleb Han, who is eagerly praying for God to raise disciples among Russian young men. He prays for God's help with his finances. He must pay almost half of his salary for his children's school tuition so that they can maintain their visa status as students. May God provide for him.
