Senior Care Group Hiking 2025

On Saturday, October 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the Senior Care Group enjoyed a refreshing outing at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL. The group gathered at the UBF Center and traveled together in a van and an SUV, with a total of 18 participants. Participants enjoyed packed lunches and café lunch boxes while sharing wonderful fellowship—walking, talking, and eating together amid nature. They were blessed with beautiful sunny weather, which allowed them to fully appreciate the Arboretum’s expansive grounds. 

The Morton Arboretum covers approximately 1,700 acres in total. Within this, about 900 acres are dedicated to natural woodlands, prairies, meadows, lakes and streams. They also took part in a 30-minute guided tram tour through its forested and prairie terrain.

It was a joyful and memorable day filled with laughter, meaningful conversation, and heartfelt gratitude to God for the opportunity to enjoy His creation and one another’s company.
