Northside Testimony/Reflection Meeting

Since the start of the fall semester we have been hosting the Northside Friday meeting, every Friday at 7:00 PM at the church sanctuary. Students, graduates and Chicago Northside residents come every Friday night to have fellowship and share testimonies and reflections based on the previous Sunday passage. The meeting starts with prayer, which is lead to praise and worship, and then the floor is open for anyone to come up and share.

Church goers and many students & graduates from schools such as Oakton, NEIU, and Loyola come to these meetings. Many share their personal struggles and the importance of consistent prayer. Spiritual warfare is something we all face personally but through prayer and reflection we are empowered and healed. It is a blessed experience to listen and share together our struggles and victories in faith. After sharing they join together in pairs to pray and eat pizza provided by Pastor Mark.

Prayer and testimony/reflection sharing is a great opportunity for Chicago UBF Northside residents to get to know each other. Any young adult/recent graduate from NU, Oakton, Loyola, Truman, & LP are welcome to join!
