We are Servants of God

Gustavo and Katisuka Prato’s family came from Caracas UBF, Venezuela. He arrived with his family to the USA about a month ago. Pastor Gustavo shared a report during our Sunday service titled “We are Servants of God”, with the key verse of Isaiah 41:8-10 ‘But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”; fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “

Gustavo Pratos has been serving Caracas UBF for about 8 years. His home country Venezuela has been going through difficulties under an extreme left government. During this time of national crisis, as a church, they would take part in congregational fasting, street preaching, and humanitarian support. In their time in Venezuela, they also had many blessed and fruitful summer bible conferences, where they held altar calls and discipleship programs. During this past year, the Venezuelan ministry had 100 brothers and sisters discipled. By the grace of God, Caracas UBF has sent missionaries to many countries including, Mexico, Columbia, and Canada.

Their Prayer Topics are:

1. To keep seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting in His promises.

2. To receive a work permit, and to find a job that helps his family qualify for a green card and to settle in the USA.
