God richly blessed the “Seven I Am’s” Student Symposium hosted by the Northwestern fellowship on April 4–5. Eight young people—six students and two recent graduates—shared thoughtful and deeply personal testimonial messages rooted in Scripture. Esther, though not part of the discipleship fellowship this school year, actively participated and wrestled with the message from John 6, “Jesus is the Bread of Life,” prompting prayer for her spiritual journey. Faithful members Sammy, Shannon, Gloria, Deborah, and Annie showed clear spiritual growth through their preparation and service, taking roles such as presider, messenger, planner, and praise leaders. Annie testified powerfully that Jesus is her Good Shepherd. We also thank God for Isha, a graduate student, who shared a message on Jesus as the Light of the World after beginning Bible study with Dr. Maria. Several newcomers joined, including Jenny, Destiny, Mina, Olivia, David, and Michael, as well as supporting guests like Pastor Mark and Kathy, Drs. Joseph and Sarah, and other community members. Through this symposium, we witnessed God’s ongoing work to raise disciples of Jesus at Northwestern University through His Word, love, and the prayerful support of the community.
