The Loyola Ministry held an Easter retreat from April 11–12 at the Church Leningrad House with the theme “Be Alive in Christ,” based on 1 Corinthians chapter 15, with the key verse 22: “For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.” The two-day retreat was filled with praise, worship, and deep reflection on Jesus’ death and resurrection. Highlights included messages by Ashton, Victor, and Jenna, which emphasized the gospel, the power of the resurrection, and the call to stand firm in faith. People shared heartfelt life testimonies, and there were fun passage recitations from 1 Corinthians 15 that had been memorized, bringing meaning, excitement, and laughter. Participants engaged in group Bible studies, performed creative skits, and enjoyed fun activities like an ice cream break and an egg decorating contest. The retreat concluded with a celebratory group dance to the song “Alive.” It was a powerful weekend marked by the risen hope of Jesus, who gives us new life and joy.
